Our camp

Our camp sits in the shade of soaring acacia trees, on the riverside. You will stay in our elegant tented camp, in cosy four poster beds in our safari tents pitched in the shade, overlooking the river.

Each 4 x 3 mt tent sleeps 2 people, with a maximum of eight guests in the whole of the camp.  Each tent has its own bathroom and hot shower, hidden in the thicket and with great views– we want you to stay close to Nature without being removed from the essentials.

There is a scenic mess area where we enjoy our meals together, often in the company of ground squirrels, kingfishers, starlings and many other pretty birds. We then spend the nights comfortably chatting around the bonfire.

We will treat you to delicious western style meals and snacks, nourishing and well balanced to replenish your energies, light enough to be enjoyable in the heat of the bush, and very tasty to whet your appetite.

Our ingredients are as far as possible sourced locally and we will be happy to discuss special dietary requirements. All food and drink, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, is included in the price of your holiday.

The camp is located in the Il Ngwesi Community Conservancy, in northern Laikipia, close to Nanyuki and Isiolo towns. The 16,500 hectare Conservancy is owned and managed by the Laikipiak Maasai.
